Our custom home process is designed with your vision in mind, ensuring that every detail reflects your personal style and needs.

We currently take on 3 homes per year so we can give you the attention you need.

 

We take pride in our ethical and trustworthy approach to each project. With us, you can relax knowing that your home is in capable hands. Our dedicated team is here to guide you through the entire process, creating a space that you will love for years to come.

​​​​Hew Homes grew out of our family's love for building, creating and making things better.

 

James brings the construction experience and hands-on knowledge. He's the person who thinks through how something is actually going to be built—not just how it looks on paper.

 

Rachel brings a love for design, homes and the details that make a house feel like your house. She's especially passionate about creating spaces that are beautiful, timeless and genuinely livable.

 

Together, we bring both sides of the process to the table: how your home is built and how it feels to live in.

And because we're a family business, you'll know who you're working with.

We aren't trying to become the biggest builder in Wisconsin. We like being small. It allows us to know our clients, pay attention to the details and stay involved in the homes we're building. When you work with Hew, you're not one of hundreds of houses on a production schedule. Your home matters to us. We want to build homes we're proud to put our name on—and homes our clients will love for generations.

We're proud to call Southeastern Wisconsin home. James grew up in Waukesha and Rachel grew up in Oconomowoc. Our roots are here, our families are here and the communities we build in are the places we know and love. From the rolling countryside of Waukesha and Jefferson Counties to Lake Country, Walworth County and the communities surrounding Milwaukee, we build homes that belong to the land they're on and the families who live in them.
